ROSELAND, NJ - This week, the Essex County Environmental Center is hosting Rutgers Essex
County Master Gardeners who will present “Indoor Kitchen Gardening, Year Round."
The class is for adults who are interested in learning about
harvesting in all four seasons.
Apartment dweller and those with limited gardening space will be instructed on how to create a four-season garden at home to supplement their grocery trips. The instructor will present a simple plan for creating one crop each season, including what equipment will be needed and how to get started.
Cost: $10 per adult
A minimum number of participants is required; those interested need to register in advance by calling 973-228-8776. The event takes place onThursday, June 25, at 6:30pm, at the Center, located at 621 Eagle Rock Avenue, Roseland.
