All are welcome at the Irish sport and cultural event which will include hurling and rugby matches as well as traditional Celtic entertainment. Game admission also includes soft drinks, beer and food. The gathering takes place Sunday, June 14, from 12pm to 7pm at the Kelly Athletic Complex, directly behind the Club which is located at 648 Prospect Avenue, West Orange. 2015 Sports Expo The day will host two hurling matches and one rugby match

![]() WEST ORANGE, NJ - This weekend, the Essex County Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh will be hosting their "47th Annual Dance" at which they will be honoring John Prior, of West Caldwell, Robert Gunning of West Orange, and Sean McGinley of Kinnelon. Tickets are $90 a person and include an open bar, dinner, dancing to The Tommy Flynn New York Showband and Irish entertainment. The event takes place Saturday, May 16, at 6pm, at Mayfair Farms located at 481 Eagle Rock Avenue, West West Orange. ![]() The Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh are known as one of the premier Irish organizations in the state. In 1971, the Essex Division of the Friendly Sons purchased the existing club building which was then known as the West Orange Women’s Club. The Friendly Sons is an Irish-American social and charitable organization dedicated to the purpose of promoting and enhancing the fraternity and good fellowship of its membership. The organization is non-sectarian and non-political and is located at 648 Prospect Avenue in West Orange, N.J.
