ROSELAND, NJ - Noecker School Principal Laura Dacosta was recently informed by the newly hired School Superintendent Lisa Gross that her contract would not be renewed for the upcoming school year. In a show of support for her continued employment, Noecker School parents are expected to turn out en masse to the school's Board of Education Meeting which will include the principal's Contract Renewal Hearing.
The past two board meetings have included open comment sessions during which parents have strenuously voiced their opposition to Dacosta's termination. Signs in support of the principal have sprouted up throughout the Borough and many parents are expected to wear Noecker's school color of red to the meeting. The meeting will take place Monday, June 1, at 7:30pm in the school's Media Center.
"I am hoping for another impressive and vocal turnout of parents to let the Board of Education know that the parents support Principal DaCosta
