4-H Young Gardeners Club; Tuesday, June 9; 4pm to 5pm; Essex County Environmental Center, 621 Eagle Rock Avenue, Roseland
ROSELAND, NJ - This week, the Essex County Environmental Center will offer a meeting of the 4-H Young Gardeners Club. The children will work on the learning garden, or in the case of rain, take part in an indoor activity. The group gathers on Tuesday, June 9, from 4pm to 5pm in Garibaldi Hall; the Center is located at 621 Eagle Rock Avenue, Roseland.
The class is geared for children in Grades 1 through 9. Members will learn information about how vegetables and flowers grow and fun information such as where spaghetti sauce comes from and how to find a rainbow in a garden.
Cost is $2 per class
