• North Caldwell Police along with West Essex Police are searching the surrounding neighborhood for 2 persons believed to be on foot
  
  
• ONLY description so far: 
  • 1 wearing a white sweatshirt
    
    
• 12:04am: Verona Police have stopped a car on Bloomfield Avenue, near Linn Drive which could be involved; driver matches description; total of 4 persons in the car
  
  
• 12:12am: 4 individuals in custody taken to NC headquarters for questioning

• Dark sedan seen on video in area of Rall Court reported as suspicious to Roseland Police; they responded and investigated area
• Roseland Police located car within minutes in Holmehill area and stopped it at Eagle Rock Avenue​
• 1 suspect was brought to headquarters for investigation

• Probably the same one seen around 3am in Roseland after it crossed Route 280 last night in Livingston
• Possibly same bear seen this week in West Orange 
• As always, when Bears are in our area the police monitor their location but don't interfere with them

• Possibly on Crestview Court
• Seen going through garbage cans
• A bear has also been seen yesterday and tonight on McCall Avenue and Hemlock in Livingston, going through garbage
• A bear was also seen in West Orange on Garfield Avenue on Monday and McGuire Drive on Friday ​
• As always, when Bears are in our area the police monitor their location but don't interfere with them

If this is the same bear, it made its way across Route 280 tonight.

POLICE INVESTIGATION OF 3 SUBJECTS
​ON FOOT AFTER CRASH

• In the area of St. Joseph's Nursing Home off of Route 23
• Verona Police were originally involved in a car pursuit
• Nissan was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed
• 1 person is in custody; 3 are on foot
• West Essex area Police are involved in the investigation and have created a perimeter around the area
• One of the suspects: 
  • Black male, wearing all black last seen running north on Cedar Grove Road and through the woods

• Little Falls Police are investigating the area of Passaic Valley High School, about 1 mile from the original crash area and at the end of Cedar Grove Road on East Main Street
  
  
• One juvenile under arrest

4:05am 

• Fairfield Police are at Union Boulevard near Route 46 investigating a male meeting the suspect's description

4:15am

• A suspect taken into custody by Fairfield Police
