WEST CALDWELL - CHILD PORN POSSESSION ARREST OF ETHAN WEINER, 29

WEST CALDWELL - Thursday morning about 6am the home of Ethan Weiner at Orton Road near Dana Road was investigated with a search warrant after an investigation by Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force found cause to investigate.
Agents from Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit, New Jersey State Police, Homeland Security Investigations and West Caldwell Police responded and devices and digital storage media were seized. Agents reportedly found more than 1,000 items depicting the sexual abuse and exploitation of children. Ethan Weiner was charged with second degree endangering the welfare of a child
During the search Ethan's brother Adam, 32, was charged with possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute and possession with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of school property.
Ethan Weiner was released on pre-trial monitoring. Adam Weiner was charged on a summons.
ROSELAND, NJ - William Siudmak, 56, of Roseland, was sentenced today to 17 years in New Jersey State Prison after having been found guilty of aggravated sexual assault and other crimes against a young girl. Sidumak was arrested for the crime in March, 2014 and the crimes are alleged to have occurred against a child betweenJanuary 2006, and December 2007.
According to Essex County Assistant Prosecutor Kelly Sandler, who handled the case, on June 2, Siudmak pled guilty to the following:
Siudmak was sentenced to 17 years by Essex County Superior Court Judge Alfonse J. Cifelli. Under the No Early Release Act, Siudmak must serve 85 percent of his 17-year sentence before he will become eligible for parole.

Lucas J. Reinmann, 36, Sentenced to 5 Years Prison for Downloading Hundreds of Child Sexual Abuse Images
NEWARK, NJ - Lucas J. Reinmann, 36, of Boonton, was sentenced today to 60 months in prison for using his home computer to download hundreds of images of child sexual abuse, US Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.
The sentencing took place in US District Judge Susan D. Wigenton's Newark federal court where Reinmann had previously pleaded guilty to one count of knowingly receiving images of child pornography over the internet.
