Roseland Mayor John Duthie Not Seeking Third Term
Mayor Duthie expressed:
"I am writing to let you know that I will not be seeking re-election to a third term as mayor of the Borough of Roseland.
I have enjoyed the time that I have spent serving our community. It’s hard to believe that I began my service to Roseland over 16 years ago as an appointed member of the Zoning Board of Adjustment, then as a council person, and now as mayor. Those years passed very quickly.
I am at a point now where I wish to enjoy some of the finer things that life has to offer. My family and my friends are anxiously awaiting my full attention and I can hardly wait to share it with them. My son Chris will enter his senior year of high school this fall and it is my desire to spend as much time as possible with him and my wife Lisa prior to Chris leaving the nest to attend college.
I look forward to completing my current term as mayor which expires December 31, 2018. I will continue to put forth my best effort while serving out the rest of my term. I thank everyone who has supported me during my tenure as a public servant and I pray that Roseland will remain the great place that it is now."

** KIDNEY DONOR NEEDED **
Friday, May 18 UPDATE

Anyone who would be willing to be tested as a possible match should call:
Ann Marie Zyla: 973-865-9000
