It is imperative to understand how individuals conduct themselves both inside and especially outside of work, can have significant implications on their own risk to acquire Covid-19 and transmit it to their family, friends and potentially co-workers. Based on our investigation so far, the workplace was not the source of transmission and practices likely prevented additional cases." As A Reminder: Covid-19 Spreads through Asymptomatic Persons. NEW JERSEY INFORMATION UPDATEThur. Apr. 16 - 1pm Day 44 from Governor Phil Murphy "I am heartbroken by the tragic news that several individuals have lost their lives in a coronavirus outbreak at the Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Centers. ANDOVER LONG TERM FACILITIES UPDATEThursday, Apr. 16
Andover Subacute And Rehab is comprised of 2 units, directly across the street from each other in Lafayette Township. Together they are the largest long term facility in New Jersey. The owner, Alliance HC Holdings out of Lakewood, is officiated by Chaim Scheinbaum and Louis Schwartz. According to Andover Township Police Department Chief Eric C. Danielson, this week his team located 17 bodies piled inside the Facility's small morgue intended to hold no more than 4 people. The police uploaded a letter from the Andover Facility's owner which states: "The backup and after hours holiday weekend issues, plus more than average deaths, contributed to the presence of more deceased that normal in the facility holding room." The Andover Facility was already investigated this year when the State Health Department determined by camera that on Jan. 21, a resident was able to leave the Facility at 3:30am through a loading door and climb over a 7-foot fence. The resident was found by Housekeeping staff at 4:45am, sitting on frozen ground, in a short-sleeve shirt and pants, without a coat, socks, or shoes. The outside temperature was -4 degrees. Police later identified the resident as a 75-year-old woman.
