![]() WEST CALDWELL, NJ - The family of Jerry Carmine Selvaggi, of West Caldwell, has announced that he passed away on Saturday at the age of 79. Family and friends are deeply saddened by their loss and the community will mourn his absence. Born and raised in Orange, Jerry also lived in Montclair for 10 years and then settled in West Caldwell in the 60s. He served in the US Army during peacetime and was honorably discharged. Jerry graduated from Rutgers University and for many years managed a division of Prudential Insurance Co. He was also employed in the in the 401K Division of ADP in Roseland before retiring. In the Township of West Caldwell, Jerry served on the Zoning and Planning Board for over 20 years and was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing the trumpet. Jerry's Family Jerry was predeceased by his wife, Josephine Selvaggi, his son, Jerry Selvaggi, his sister, Genevieve Selvaggi Sarni, and his brother in-law, John Derites. He is survived by:
