![]() WEST CALDWELL, NJ - The family of Linda Ann Carbone McDonnell, of West Caldwell, have announced that she passed away on Wednesday at the age of 61. Family and friends are deeply saddened by their loss and the community will mourn her absence. Born and raised in Jersey City, Linda settled in West Caldwell 33 years ago. She was a Senior Managing Director at AON Benfield in New York City. Linda was also a longtime parishioner of St. Aloysius and she volunteered as a teacher in their religious education program for several years. Linda was an avid sailor and along with her husband Thomas, founded the not-for-profit organization S.T.E.M. Sailing. ![]() CALDWELL, NJ - The family of Ryan P. Shaw, of Caldwell, has announced that he passed away suddenly on Friday, days after turning 32-years old. Family and friends are deeply saddened by their loss and the community will mourn his absence. Shaw served as Student Council President at Grover Cleveland Middle School, and in 2001, graduated from James Caldwell High School. He went on to study at Moravian College, where he also competed on the school's football team. After school, Ryan moved to Florida where he worked in advertising and more recently, participated in political fundraising. "We would often see Ryan out in the yard throwing a football As an active member of the Recovery Unplugged addiction treatment group in Florida, Ryan was passionate about supporting people who experienced difficult life experiences and he shared with them his own challenges and accomplishments with sobriety. ![]() CALDWELL, NJ - The family of Reverend Robert David Jacunski, of Caldwell, has announced that he passed away on Monday at the age of 84, at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. Family and friends are deeply saddened by their loss and the community will mourn his absence. Father Bob was born and raised in Bloomfield to Josephine and William Jacunski. He graduated from Seton Hall Preparatory School, Seton Hall College and Immaculate Conception Seminary. On May 26, 1956, Father Bob was ordained a Roman Catholic Priest and served for 58 years in the Archdiocese of Newark. He went on to serve the diocese in the following parishes:
"In addition to being a devout priest, he was culinary expert and was as gracious in the kitchen as he was at the altar," a family member commented. Robert's Family Robert was predeceased by his brothers, Alfred and Mamert Jacunski, his sister, Irene Jacunski Skwar, and a nephew Tom Skwar. He is survived by:
