ROSELAND, NJ - The paving portion of Eagle Rock Avenue, Roseland, is expected to continue Tuesday night. The Essex County Department of Public Works has completed the milling phase and will now begin re-paving beginning at Cortlandt Street and then workers will head east up the avenue.
The improvements will take place from 7pm until 6am the following morning, weather permitting, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Each night the roadway in that area will be closed and traffic will be detoured so drivers should avoid the area if possible.
Anyone living within the construction area who needs access should stop and talk to the police officers stationed at the major intersections, tell them where they live and police will direct them around the closures.
