Cancellations and Postponements Due to Saturday, Jan. 24, Storm

WEST ESSEX, NJ - The following cancellations and postponements have been announced due to the Snow / Ice storm on Saturday, Jan. 24.

SCHOOLS

• Caldwell University - Closed Saturday
  Due to inclement weather the university will be closed on Saturday, January 24. All Classes have been canceled.
  
  
• James Caldwell High School  - SAT Tests Postponed
  The SATs scheduled for Saturday at James Caldwell High School have been postponed until Saturday, Feb. 7
  
  
• Verona High School - Basketball cancelled
  Verona HS Boys Varsity and JV Basketball games cancelled for Saturday.

• West Essex High School  - SAT Tests Postponed
  Due to weather forecasts, the SAT exam has been postponed until Saturday, Feb. 7
  
  

• Passaic Valley High School - SAT Tests Postponed
  Rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7
  
  

CALDWELL 

• Caldwell Community Center - Group classes cancelled 
  All Saturday group exercise classes and swim lessons at the Caldwell Community Center have been cancelled. While the center will be open, keep in mind that the upper parking deck is subject to closure until it can be cleared.

• Caldwell Health Department  - Rabies Clinic Postponed 
  Saturdays Rabies Clinic, sponsored by the Caldwell Health Department, is postponed until next Saturday, Jan. 31: 10am to 11:30am, Caldwell Fire House, lower level.
  
  

• Caldwell Public Library - Closed Saturday
  The Korean Culture Program is rescheduled for Saturday, March 7  

ESSEX FELLS

• St. Peter's Episcopal Church - Postments / Cancellations
  Due to the forecasted inclement weather, Nan Ramé's funeral has been postponed to a future date. In addition, we will not hold our 5pm service tomorrow and The OpShop at St. Peter's Church will not be open. St. Peter's Nursery School has postponed the open house scheduled for tomorrow, to next Saturday, Jan. 31, from 10am to 12pm 
  
  

NORTH CALDWELL

• North Caldwell Recreation Department - 
  - All recreation games and practices scheduled for West Essex Middle School have been cancelled
  - The Kindergarten clinic for 11:30 am at Mt. St. Dominic Academy has been cancelled
  - Still on:
  As of the morning the 1st and 2nd grade clinics at Mt. St. Dominic Academy scheduled for 2:30 pm & 3:30 pm are still on
  The recreation game at 6:15 pm is still on
  The 2:30 pm, 6th grade travel basketball game at Verona is still on

ROSELAND

• Roseland Recreation Department - Basketball, Arts and Crafts cancelled 
  Roseland Recreation Department is canceling all of its Home Basketball Games and Practices, as well as it’s Arts and Crafts Program tomorrow, Saturday, Jan.  24 to err on the side of caution.

WEST CALDWELL

• West Caldwell Public Library  - Passport Service Postponed
  The West Caldwell Library has cancelled Passport Service for tomorrow. The Essex County Clerks Office will be back Saturday, Feb. 28.
