$74,179 Jersey Cash 5 Jackpot Purchased from Henry's in Verona; $1 Million Powerball Second Place Ticket Purchased from Montclair Food & Fuel, Montclair

VERONA, NJ  - One ticket won the Jersey Cash 5 $74,179 jackpot for the Saturday, Oct. 18 drawing. The ticket was purchased at Henry's Fine Food,  318 Bloomfield Ave., in Verona. New Jersey Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger said that the winning ticket was the only one sold for Saturday’s drawing that matched all five numbers drawn.

The winning numbers were:

13, 27, 34, 35, and 38

“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold
at Henry Fine Food Inc.,” said Hedinger.
“For selling this ticket, the retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000. Overnight, it has become one more 
‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”

Also close to home, the second prize Powerball ticket for the Saturday, Oct. 18 drawing was purchased at Montclair Food & Fuel, located at 115 Bloomfield Ave., Montclair. The second prize winner will win $1,000,000 for matching five white balls.

Hedinger also noted that 1,546 other players won $52,391 in cash prizes in the Saturday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 29 players won cash prizes of $865 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 1,517 players won $18 each.

20, 26, 27, 36 and 54 

The Red Power Ball number was 19
 
The Multiplier number was 02

In addition to the second and third prize winning tickets, there were 19,409 New Jersey players who took home an estimated $103,416 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The jackpot for the Wednesday, Oct. 22 drawing is now $110 million.
