Roseland Republican Committee Reminds Residents to Vote for Mark Vidovich and Michele Tolli for Roseland Borough Council
"The Roseland Republican County Committee urges you to vote for Council President Mark Vidovich and Councilwoman Michele Tolli on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 7.
A vote for Vidovich and Tolli insures that Roseland residents continue to benefit from the leadership, experience, and dedication to fiscal responsibility that they have come to expect from their local leaders.
Michele Tolli is a 32 year resident of Roseland and is seeking her fifth term on the Roseland Borough Council. Along with her extensive experience working in the banking industry, Michele chairs Public Affairs Committee and the Council Liaison to Municipal Youth Guidance, Beautification, First Aid Squad and Senior Transportation Boards and has a been an active member of The Roseland Junior Women’s Club since 1988. Michele’s community service dates back to 1986 and her commitment to the citizens of Roseland is undeniable. Michele is married to Al Tolli and together they have two sons, Matthew and Alfred Jr.
Mark Vidovich has lived in Roseland for over 20 years and brings to the Borough Council more than 24 years of business skills and experience in budgeting, accounting, auditing, vendor and union negotiations and government relations in his role as President of Pomptonian Food Service in Fairfield. In addition to serving as Council President, Mark is the Chairman of the Roseland Borough Administration and Finance Committee, the Council Liaison to the Public Safety and Public Works Departments, and chairs the contract negotiation committee. Re-electing Mark to the Borough Council will ensure that our citizens will continue to benefit from his valuable skills. Mark has been married for 23 years to Candy and together they have five children: Tanya, Matt, and triplets Jake, Nick, and Mike.
The November 7 election may be one of the most important elections the Borough has faced in many years. Like many boroughs across New Jersey, the decisions made in the coming months and years regarding the court-imposed affordable housing mandates and the inevitable pressures the growth will impose on the Borough’s services will shape Roseland’s future for decades to come. It will take the kind of judgment and vision that Mark and Michele have shown in their many years of service to Roseland to successfully navigate this unchartered territory.
This is not a time to trust Roseland’s future to those with no experience!
We ask all Roseland residents to join us in voting to re-elect Council President Mark Vidovich and Councilwoman Michele Tolli to the Roseland Borough Council. Doing so will enable them to continue their important work and make certain that the Borough continues to maintain its fiscal health, supply the services our residents rely on, and protect the quality and character of our community."
Letter to the Editor: Stacy McCormack Supports Roger Freda and Chris Bardi for Election to Roseland Borough Council
Letter to the Editor:
Post the 2016 election, so many people sat quietly and just well, complained. Not many people took our current situation as a call to action. And when bigotry and hate hit Roseland, I watched a few people rise to the top to end it. Roger Freda not only fought to remove the bigot from the Council but decided to run as well.
Roger led the recall movement and suffered the consequences of having had the courage of his convictions.
Roseland has recently seen some of its darkest days. We have watched the Mayor and Council sit silently while the disgraced Councilmen resigned and then rescinded their resignations. We have seen residents attempt to get involved in local issues only to be shouted down at Council meetings and on social media.
In spite of all the Council does to keep their residents uninformed and scared, I commend Roger Freda for stepping up to the plate. After serving the community as a Roseland Volunteer Firefighter, Office of Emergency Management Coordinator, and former member of the Roseland Volunteer First Aid Squad, he has devoted his time and energy to saving countless lives in Roseland.
I hope that you will agree with me when I say that it is time for Roger to save Roseland!
Vote Bardi and Freda for Roseland Council on Tuesday, Nov, 7, 2017.
Letter to the Editor: Laura and Chris LaBianca Support Mark Vidovich and Michele Tolli for Re-election to the Roseland Borough Council
Letter to the Editor:
As long-time residents of Roseland, we are proud to support Mark Vidovich and Michele Tolli for Re-election to the Roseland Borough Council.
Roseland is a special place.
Like many of us, Mark Vidovich has lived in town and raised his 5 children here. He spent many years giving back to the community by coaching for decades in our recreation programs. He has served on the town council since 2011 and was elected President by his fellow council members twice. He also serves the borough as
Chairman of Administration and Finance. Mark holds an MBA in Finance and has many years of experience running a business. Mark's solid understanding of business, and specifically finance, will be invaluable, as our council is faced with negotiating complex business and tax issues related to redevelopment. We believe Mark Vidovich is the only candidate that can provide this perspective to our council.
Michele Tolli has over 30 years as an active member of the Roseland community. She has been involved in the school, civic organizations as well as many other recreation and borough activities for decades. Her years of managing a bank branch right here in Roseland puts her in touch with our residents on a daily basis. Michele has served on our town council for over 10 years. She also serves as the Chair of the Public Relations
department, on the Beautification Committee and the Roseland Junior Woman’s Club. Her dedication to the residents of Roseland is evident in the fact that if there is an event in Roseland, you will find her there helping to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Together, Mark and Michele have consistently put taxpayers first. They have advocated for reduced spending, as evidenced by the responsible budget they have worked to pass. Unlike the other candidates, Mark and Michele have a solid understanding of the changes and developments facing our town and they support proactive solutions to meet these challenges head-on.
We are confident that the knowledge, experience, and dedication of Mark Vidovich and Michelle Tolli work together to make them the best candidates for Town Council and this is why they will have our VOTE on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
We urge all residents to come out and VOTE FOR MARK VIDOVICH AND MICHELE TOLLI on NOVEMBER 7 to ensure that this town remains the special kind of place that brought us all here!
