At 3:34pm Sunday, the National Weather Service re-issued a Winter Weather Advisory for northeast New Jersey, including West Essex. The Advisory is expected to be in effect until 7am Monday.

"A Winter Storm is forecast to impact the greater Tri-State area
Sunday and Sunday night.
The forecast calls for Snow and Ice accumulation of 4 to 6 inches,
along with up to around a tenth of an inch of Ice and
Visibilities of one-quarter to one-half miles at times.
Snow will develop late Sunday morning over western portions of the Tri-state, then expand over the remainder of the advisory area Sunday afternoon.
The Snow will mix with, or change to, Freezing Rain by Sunday evening.
The precipitation will taper off from west to east after midnight Sunday night.
Snow covered surfaces, coated with ice in areas,
will make traveling difficult, especially on all untreated surfaces.
Be prepared for slippery roads with limited visibilities,
