The Warning is expected to be in effect until 9:15pm Wednesday. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop. |  FLOOD WATCH At 4:16pm Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued a Flood Watch for northeast New Jersey, including West Essex. The Watch is expected to be in effect from Thursday morning until Friday morning. The advisory was issued due to the forecast for heavy rains and the ensuing potential for flooding of small streams. West Essex NOW will continue to monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop. |
