At 3:15 p.m. Friday, the National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Warning for the West Essex area. The Warning is expected to be in effect until midnight. The advisory was issued due to the river rising above the flood stage Thursday. Take caution when driving, the water may be deeper than it appears.
During the flood stage, Eagle Rock Avenue in Roseland, along with Broadway Lane, Camp Lane Road, River Edge Drive, Stewart Place and Two Bridges Road in Fairfield are all subject to flooding.
