Published 8:46pm ![]() WEST CALDWELL, NJ - The First Presbyterian Church of Caldwell will be hosting a Blood Drive Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 3pm to 8pm. Baked goods, snacks and beverages will be provided to all those who donate. The drive will be held in the gymnasium of the church education building which is located at 326 Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell. The blood drive will be administered by The Blood Center of New Jersey and donors will need to supply their social security number on their initial visit or their blood donor ID number. Donors who provide their email address will receive an email in a few days which lists their blood type and cholesterol result. "Very little changes after giving blood," a Blood Center spokesperson commented. New Jersey Requirements to Donate Blood In general, eligible donors must be in good health. There are no upper age limits provided all health requirements are met:
