Published 10:42am MONTCLAIR / VERONA, NJ - Throughout the month of June, Essex County will be hosting a Free Outdoor "Friday Night Flicks" Movie Night at Kip’s Castle when popular movies for children and adults will be shown under the stars. This week, the county will be offering the screening of “Frozen.” The event will take place on Friday, June 5, with special pre-movie activities, including a meet and greet with Snow Queen Elsa, will be starting at 7pm. The movie will start at dusk about 8:25pm. The 9,000-square-foot mansion is a replica of a medieval Norman castle and is constructed of local trap rock trimmed with sandstone. Many of the rooms are uniquely designed with round or octagonal shapes and vaulted ceilings. There are six ornately designed fireplaces throughout the structure. There also is a 6,000-square-foot, two-story carriage house that was renovated in 1984 to accommodate offices.
