Between the hours of 2pm to 5pm on Friday, customers who mention the Mount will have half of their bill donated by Chipotle to ASTEP and the Mount's Arts Department.
Chipotle is located at 749 Bloomfield Avenue, West Caldwell.
Conceived by Broadway Musical Director Mary-Mitchell Campbell and students from The Juilliard School, ASTEP uses the arts to transform the lives of underserved American youth and young people around the world by awakening their imaginations, fostering critical thinking, and helping them break the cycle of poverty.
The Mount's Arts Department cultivates the lives of students through Dance, Forensic Speaking, Music, Theater Arts and the Visual Arts. While other schools are cutting back on their arts programs, The Mount continues to increased their courses and broaden their cultural offerings. This fall, students have participated in a theater workshop with mime, Bill Bowers, presented Thornton Wilder’s classic Our Town, traveled to New York City to visit the International Center of Photography and performed in a Christmas show which offered a forensic reading, dance and vocal selections.
