RJ was seen earlier this morning running in the area of Greenwood and Fellswood road in Livingston. A resident, who didn't recognize the dog, posted the photo on Facebook, and many readers recognized RJ and contacted the Farrell family. It took a couple more hours but with the help of Michael Torsiello they were able to get RJ to stop running and return her home again.
It is not clear if at some point the males who originally took her in their car, then let her go on her own again.

"RJ is our family's Jack Russel terrier,"
Donna Damelio Farrell of Livingston expressed.
"She got out of our yard last night and was last seen by our neighbors
running down the middle of Northfield Avenue.
They said she was being chased by two boys in baseball pants
who took her into their car; that was around 8pm.
We believe the two kids were trying to help her
because she could have been killed.
But we want her home safe as soon as possible.
If anyone has any information please call us."
$2000 reward for information leading to finding RJ
